Happy hump day world!! Gosh the journey to hump day has been fun this week. I love a bit of mid-week socialising. Last night it was a BFF’s birthday so had a little vino and a spot of yummy Italian food. I actually met this week’s London Girl through the birthday girl. I have only met today’s London Girl a total of 4 or 5 times. So if I had to describe her in
three a few words I would say, fun-loving, pretty, determined and easy-going. Here is this week’s interview.
How has your journey to hump day gone this week?
It’s been pretty weird. Judging by cycle journey into work this week it feels like the build-up to Halloween. Everyone seems a bit jaded I saw a guy fall of his bike and two pedestrians bumped into me. The good news is part of my Halloween customer (black swan) has started to be delivered so I am excited by that.
What’s your favourite part of London?
Hyde Park. It’s so lovely and autumnal at the moment. In summer it’s great as you can see the sun setting on the Serpentine.
What was the last play/exhibition you saw in London?
I went to an Exhibition at the Welcome Centre on Health and Dirty. I really want to go to the Foundling Museum. The organisation was set up so women who wanted to abandon their babies so they didn’t have to just dump them on the streets.
What restaurant would you recommend for a dirty Friday date night?
El Parador in Camden is a great tapas place. The food is so amazing and I always eat so much. The menu is seasonal so it is always fresh. However you do end up stinking of garlic so maybe it’s not so good for a date.
Where do you go to let loose with your girls?
Madam jojos as they always have great retro music or the Blues Kitchen in Camden. When they have a great band at the Blues Kitchen you can dance the whole night away.
What would you recommend a tourist do in their last 24 hours in London?
Get on a Boris bike and cycle around London. It is a great way to see everything without going underground.
What is your favourite item in your wardrobe?
A coat I brought last Christmas from Sandro which I love. It has a leather collar and leather trimmings. The only problem now everything has leather trimmings on and it’s not so unique but I still love it.
Have you had any recent fashion splurge or bargain find?
Where have you recently gone on holiday to escape the big smoke of London?
I went to north Devon and the south of Spain.
What’s your life philosophy?
The road less travelled.
Have a fab downward climb to the weekend all.
