So hump day is here at last!! I have had a rather interesting and crazy week, full of lots of drama. Today’s London Girl is tres cool, quirky and has been living in London since moving over from the US.  I absolutely love her spontaneity of escaping the big smoke.  Enjoy the interview….

How has your journey to hump day gone this week?

What’s your favourite part of London?

Camden as it reminds me of the US, all the bars are American style rocker bars.

What was the last play/exhibition you saw in London?

I saw my friend’s final performance at the Mime Theatre School.

What restaurant would you recommend for a dirty Friday date night?

The Red Dogs Saloon in Hoxton.  It has amazing burgers and onion rings.  It is great for a date as you can do the Devastator Challenge.

Where do you go to let loose with your girls?

Cafe 1001 in Brick Lane as it plays good music and is super hip.

What would you recommend a tourist do in their last 24 hours in London?

Get a picnic and watch the sunset on Primrose Hill.

What is your favourite item in your wardrobe?

My lightweight gold windbreaker jacket which I wear all the time and I love my acid wash shorts.

Have you had any recent fashion splurge or bargain find?

I have had lots recently, I bought a whole array of Rimmel nail polishes, red jeans from Zara and acid wash jeans from Primark.

Where have you recently gone on holiday to escape the big smoke of London?

I needed to get out of London so I went to Kings Cross with a friend, looked at the departure board, picked a place and ended up in Cambridge.

What’s your life philosophy?

Everything happens for a reason and you can only do as much as you can.
